I had more fun watching this than it seems most others did: the action’s solid, the story is a bit of a mess, but Emilia Clarke does well with the role, and Schwarzenegger too, a fun romp with a non-sensical alternate time-line arc.

Far deeper than first pass, a beautiful biblical parable about how the devil can take a hold of a person’s morality and destroy their faith; like Kinison said: if you’re going to miss heaven, why miss it by two inches?

A fine story based on the children’s (young adult?) book, interestingly directed, and with some great CGI — the tiger isn’t real nor is the sea, and it’s sometimes very hard to tell — despite all that it never really follows through, feeling a little empty as the credits roll.

Garbage, only worth watching for the fight scene towards the end of the film with a million star-studded cameos.

Set in the ’80’s, it’s a funny and touching coming of age story that really struck a chord with me, it perfectly portrays not knowing where you want to be but really aching to be there.
