Another dramatically overrated film, the fight scenes are grizzly and fantastic, but the rest is too dull to make it a fun film, nor poignant enough to make it stand the test of time; overall a gritty action movie that aspires to lofty heights, but doesn't entirely succeed.

An icon of cinema, it's approachable and popular enough that everyone's seen it and those that haven't know they're missing out — it's not the best action movie ever made, but it's damn close.

I love Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg (though some of their recent stuff may have been a little self-indulgent, see: The Interview -- but they knock it out of the park four times out of five) and Superbad is brilliant, eminently quotable, iconically funny, and surprisingly emotionally cogent for a film with literally hundreds of dick jokes and drawings.

A great big-budget summer blockbuster, the dinosaurs hold up very well thanks to the use of mostly practical effects; so much fun.

Paul Newman is one of the coolest cats to ever have walked the Earth, this is a great film about how a rebel adapts (or rather doesn't) to life in a Southern prison.
