“That woman deserves her revenge and we deserve to die.”
Tarantino’s most stylised film, it’s a masterpiece, over-the-top and noticeably helmed by a giddy child, it’s indulgent but works flawlessly on every level.

“Lips red as blood, hair black as night, bring me your heart, my dear, dear Snow White.”
There’s some great shots in this gritty take on the fairytale, but despite Charlize Theron there’s really not much to like here.

“You’ll have bad times, but it’ll always wake you up to the good stuff you weren’t paying attention to.”
A classic, a beautiful slice of life between a troubled genius and his psychotherapist.

“You are a kite dancing in a hurricane, Mr Bond.”
After a perfect ten minute opener, the second half of the movie is a turd — a shame since Craig is my favourite Bond, an excellent actor, and is given very little to work with here; Blofeld isn’t a great villain for 2015 and Waltz was terribly miscast bringing no gravitas to the role never making you feel he could outwit Bond — I can’t help but love this film whilst hating most of it at the same time.

“My name is Robert Hawkins. It’s 6:42 AM on Saturday, May 23rd. Approximately seven hours ago, some… thing attacked the city.”
Cloverfield does something great by not letting you get a good look at the monster for three-quarters of the runtime, building suspense and really making you feel like one of the people on the ground, scared but not quite knowing what’s going on.
