A pretty interesting film, held up by two great performances, it's just never fun, or powerful, or tough, it's about one man getting rich by less than reputable methods in a very grounded way.

This movie, like Liar's Poker after it, and countless other examples, inspired millions to become traders despite its anti-greed message; it's a great film, though it's funny to see 80's opulence through today's lens.

The best comic book themed movie (i.e. one that's styled as a comic book), fast paced, nerdy, it's visually incredible; a lot of fun.

I really like the Roosterteeth crew, and their goodwill and charisma carry this movie — with that said, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't already a fan.

Another great Nicolas Winding Refn movie, it's perhaps Hardy's best role — just as much performance art as it is a movie.
