"Unfortunately, the further you run from your sins, the more exhausted you are when they catch up with you... and they do."
Smart and twisty, it keeps you on the edge of your seat with a brilliant premise, it's also the odd Spike Lee film that's fun to watch.
"That is so fetch!"
Far better than you'd imagine from the premise, it's sharp and acerbic, from the ever brilliant writer Tina Fey (go watch 30 Rock if you haven't yet), timeless.
"We each owe a death - there are no exceptions - but, oh God, sometimes the Green Mile seems so long."
Badly paced and too long, but this is a fascinating look at a the wardens and inmates on Death Row with just a splash of the supernatural to keep it interesting.
"If I were God, I would have made the world just so and no different. And so I have you... I have you."
A bleak and dreary movie, but worth sticking through for the great acting and delicate apocalyptic cinematography.
"There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it."
Completely joyous in the same way as Aladdin from the humour right down to the way the characters move, this is by far my favourite Pixar movie — with enough hidden for adults, but this should be mandatory viewing for young children, especially girls.
