Lars Von Trier latest three films (four, counting Nymphomaniac’s two volumes separately) speak to something in me like few other films do, everything about them is deliberate yet naturalistic, soaked in mood and deep with psychological aspects to dwell on — Nymphomaniac in particular is some of his better work, ambitious if gratuitous.
